How to use the tip pool split sheet template
- Enter the total tips in the pool for the shift or week.
- Add each person with their hours. To split by hours only, leave Points as 1.
- To split by points, give roles a weight (for example servers 1, bussers 0.5); weighted hours = hours x points.
- Each payout = pool x weighted hours / total weighted hours, and a check cell shows any rounding difference.

Hours: tips × hours ÷ total hours. Points: tips × (hours × points) ÷ total weighted hours. Allocate cents by largest remainder.
